PG32UCDM Auto Input Switching Failure

Hi,

i have the following issue:

I have a PC Connected to DP and a Mac Mini M4 to HDMI.

Whenever the Mac wakes up from sleep the Input switches automatic to HDMI. The PG32UDCM is only connected as secondary Monitor for the Mac.

Auto Input Switching is turned off. Kvm is not enabled.

FIRMWARE MCM108

Any suggestions what else it could be?

PS: i connected the Mac via USB C now and it atleast doesnt auto switch anymore. But there seems to be an underlying Firmware issue.

Pls fix.

Thank you 🙂

Hey mate, RMA the monitor. I had this same issue. It was extremely frustrating for a $2500AUD monitor. I RMA'd it and they confirmed the issue was with an early revision of the scaler. They replaced the mainboard and the panel and I got it back within 5 weeks. It's annoying but with gear like this you shouldn't have to put up with these kind of issues.

The funniest thing? I got it back with MCM301 firmware, one of the earliest versions... and it worked perfectly—none of the little gremlin issues I experienced with the first one. I updated it to 108, and it works so well now.

Do yourself a favour; nothing you can do can fix the hardware issues. Return it and get it replaced.

That really is the last thing i wanted to hear... But you are right for a device this expensive this is a joke and should be carried out to the tech youtubers and so on.

@Aureliannn_ROG is there any possibility this is a firmware issue?
