Just checked: PG27 production starts now in May, so mid/late May/early June for first markets depending on how it's being shipped.
Not sure X series yet. It's often mostly waiting for mass-production of panel availability and/or mass production to meet a certain quality standard.
For the record: Monitors don't wait for graphics cards. They just launch on their own schedule.*

Search "PG27UQ Fan" on youtube and you'll see plenty of examples. I opted to buy the C27HG70 by samsung. It's basically just as good, if not better (with a better contrast ratio) during SDR. 4K resolution is of course better, but at 27inch, there differen is practically negligible. It has HDR with 8 dimming zones and 600 nits, obviously pale in comparison to the PG27UQ, but you're only paying a fourth of the price. No GSync either, but you dont need GSync if you have a 1080ti on 1440p. In other words, the PG27UQ is literaly only better for HDR, something that isn't even common yet on PC. By the time it is common, we'll have miniLED panels, or even microLED.

You mounted the VESA bracket backwards, that's why the fan was louder. The bracket is designed to give a spacer/gap to let the fan breath. You may want to edit the video.

I believe if you turn on local dimming in SDR mode on PG27UQ, its contrast ratio can get to around 6000:1, which is double of C27HG70.

I Like the C27HG70 has 8 dimming zones and can achieve 20000:1 contrast ratio in HDR, but it's pretty bull**** cause it would be only between a pixel on the left side of the screen compared to the right. tl;dr, local dimming only helps if the contrast is between different regions on the monitor. This would improve alot more with miniLED and microLED, which is why I'm perfectly fine with waiting a bit more while I use my curved CHG70 (I like the curve lol).

What? C27HG70 can go up to 20000:1 contrast ratio in HDR? Can you link me to a review that says this?

That's is mostly why the 6000:1 contrast ratio is BS, because you can only get contrast that big between the darked black point and brightest white point, which means completely different regions of the monitor. Same goes for the CHG70 until they have more zones. In other words, we shouldn't pay more for zones until we get well above 1000 zones.
And I dont know the details exactly, but if the GSync HDR module costed about 500 USD in the PG27UQ, I'm pretty sure that would add 500 bucks to the price of a CHG70. I can see this being the reason why Samsung won't bring a GSync version. They dont want to be burdened with a bunch of overexpensive units that no one is buying because they're 500 dollars more than the freesync version. I rather just turn on VSync, it's not worth it.
