Just checked: PG27 production starts now in May, so mid/late May/early June for first markets depending on how it's being shipped.

Not sure X series yet. It's often mostly waiting for mass-production of panel availability and/or mass production to meet a certain quality standard.

For the record: Monitors don't wait for graphics cards. They just launch on their own schedule.*

On this retailer site, the Acer Predator X27 is listed as to be shipped April 5th. Because ASUS usually release their version a little earlier than Acer/the other manufacturers, it is likely that the PG27UQ will be released (assuming that shipping date is correct) during March, this would also still stick to the Q1 2018 release window.

I have a question for those who have this monitor.

My son is considering picking this monitor up and running his current games at 1440p 144hz until upgrading his PC later this year.

Problem is the manual doesnt show this monitor supports any resolution other then 4k at 144hz so was hoping to get confirmation on this.

Like I was trying to say the Haloing is really not that bad at all, cameras will over expose it every time without special setups to take such photos, in game or otherwise as long as it is not pure black it is a non issue. but if you in a completely black screen with a small white object it is noticeable but it is no worse then sdr glowing for a small spot, really cant be helped at all till mini or mirco LEDs.

Over all I had just one day of messing around but so far I am loving it, could it be better yes but not without newer tech that isn't out yet.

but I will say HDR games are wild in person like a whole new game visually.

Damnm spoiling kids is bad man !!!

its has other resolutions obviously like any other monitor but max refresh ois 144hz and hdr wont work properly if it not native 4k, according to the manual which is available on the product website.

I was looking at the manual at it was showing it didnt even support 1440p at all unless I am not seeing something.

Should have added my son is a 30 year old man who oversees the distribution of Coke products for the Indianapolis area.

So he is buying it I am just helping do some research.

I got mine PG27UQ today. Tested Destiny2 in HDR 444@98Hz. Forget about FALD halo. Just forget about it. yes I can see it sometimes in menus, and I dont care.

Where did you buy from?

Can anybody please confirm HDR actually works on Fortnite on PC? I don't have a HDR display to test with. I was messing around with the games config file trying to get 3840x2160 to work in fullscreen mode, sadly it only works in fullscreen window, but I found HDR listed in the settings in the process. https://s8.postimg.cc/gondinh77/fgh.png

Jesus fuc**** Christ! I asked this question on multiple threads but still no response. Just want someone to test Fortnite out by enabling HDR in the config file as shown here https://s8.postimg.cc/gondinh77/fgh.png
