On this retailer site, the Acer Predator X27 is listed as to be shipped April 5th. Because ASUS usually release their version a little earlier than Acer/the other manufacturers, it is likely that the PG27UQ will be released (assuming that shipping date is correct) during March, this would also still stick to the Q1 2018 release window.

oh man - i rage commented this article as soon as i read it -
so much misleading information and errors...

'HDR limited to 98hz'
'HDMI limited to 98hz'
'600nits brightness' (without mentioning peak brightness and so on...)

no word about FALD and settings
no word on using chroma subsampling...

this article seems to be rushed - without looking it over again -
and has so many errors and pseudo-facts that it's a pain to read it...

this monitor has it's flaws - yes - but it's not the flaws this article is mentioning -
and it seems, that the author has done it's job without caring for the details!

So according to the follow article in this reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/8wj796/asus_pq22uc_release_date_price/ that 4k OLED 21.6 inch monitor (PQ22UC) is expected to have a price of 5300$ when it comes out (between 2018-2019), and somewhere around $3000 USD when it is mass produced in 2020.

lol absolutely ridiculous price vs oled tv. Why will anyone buy this?

that monitor is too small for me to even consider shelling out that kind of money for it I remember buying the dell 8k monitor at $5000 and that was a mistake I wil be buying a pg27uq in a few weeks though and waiting to replace my oled in 2019 when we get the 4k 120hz panels

To PG27UQ owners, the monitor has 6 GameVisual modes, for stuff like FPS,RTS,Scenary, sRGB, etc. What mode would you use universally? I really dont like switching back and forth through modes. Do you guys switch through modes? If not, what mode would you recommend for permanant usage. There's no standard mode.
