Just checked: PG27 production starts now in May, so mid/late May/early June for first markets depending on how it's being shipped.

Not sure X series yet. It's often mostly waiting for mass-production of panel availability and/or mass production to meet a certain quality standard.

For the record: Monitors don't wait for graphics cards. They just launch on their own schedule.*

On this retailer site, the Acer Predator X27 is listed as to be shipped April 5th. Because ASUS usually release their version a little earlier than Acer/the other manufacturers, it is likely that the PG27UQ will be released (assuming that shipping date is correct) during March, this would also still stick to the Q1 2018 release window.

For reference, see the posts in this thread:

Jesus fuc**** Christ! I asked this question on multiple threads but still no response. Just want someone to test Fortnite out by enabling HDR in the config file as shown here https://s8.postimg.cc/gondinh77/fgh.png

LOL Fortnite....really? Ridiculous childs game with graphics quality from 2002.

Damn 50+ year old gamer who has well over 100 wins in Fortnite and rather enjoy the game and sorry, not a child here.

That's not the point. Also, such as childish comment. I'm just a curious user who wants to know rather the game supports HDR or not because there is no official statement on it being supported, yet it's listed in the config. Also, PC has very limited HDR support, so a true PC gamer would be happy any game gets HDR support.

You've posted this repeatedly in many forums (more than once in each one). You would've get a reply if someone cared as much as you do. So just wait for a reply rather than spamming it. Try reddit if you haven't.

Can anybody please confirm HDR actually works on Fortnite on PC? I don't have a HDR display to test with. I was messing around with the games config file trying to get 3840x2160 to work in fullscreen mode, sadly it only works in fullscreen window, but I found HDR listed in the settings in the process. https://s8.postimg.cc/gondinh77/fgh.png

Seems like a total win for pg27uq with a much quieter fan
