PG279Q OSD Buttons Not Working.. Halp!

I tried holding the exit button down for 5+ seconds... (Ultimately I've tried up to like 30 seconds..)
Ive tried holding down all the buttons. The controller knob up down left right and pressed....
Just got the monitor, soon as it turned on on its own, they haven't worked. I'm just sitting here staring at my screen with the 'Light in Motion' dialog popped up with no way to say yes or no, and no other buttons work. (Not even the power).

I'm going to assume that since the power button as well doesn't work, this thing is just fubar. Guess if no support from my ticket, multiple forums and what nots by morning.. easier to just return for new one via vendor and not deal with asus rma/support.. From what im reading on forums it appears there is no real support and for sure not in a timely manor.

My guess would be your panel connection cable came loose so that's why none of the buttons are working. The easiest thing to do is exchange it for another unit with the retailer. If you purchased online, most retailers in the US take care of DOA so they will be able to give you a shipping label to ship it back for the swap.

Yeah, it was amazon so I doubt there will be any problem at all returning. I was just hoping it was something i was overlooking.

If even the power button isn't working properly then I personally believe there's nothing to suspect other than a defective unit.

Sounds like a cable got loose inside your monitor, I'd contact Amazon and get a replacement.
