PG279Q Backlight bleed

Hello,
so I got the PG279Q in November and was pretty happy with it. But after using it for a while I noticed that on black screens my bottom left corner was slightly more lit than the others. Now I looked at it on a completely black screen with light switched off and you can definitely see some backlight bleed going on. I can live with the amount of bleed I have but I just wanted to ask if this is normal or if ASUS can do better? I'd like to hear your opinions on my BLB and please tell me what you would do when getting a monitor like this.

And related to this...do you guys notice that the screen does not stretch fully to the bezel? On mine, there is about a 16th of an inch margin on all four side between the visible screen and the bezel.

About the 165hz...you have to press the joystick down one more time when it prompts about changing hz then it will reboot itself. I had to figure it out too myself.

That worked! Wow, that is a little wonky and definitely not self explanatory. Thanks!

I think you should show that pic of that vertical thing to some asus rma guy, just send them a pic. It certainly doesn't look right.
