PG279Q Backlight bleed

Hello,
so I got the PG279Q in November and was pretty happy with it. But after using it for a while I noticed that on black screens my bottom left corner was slightly more lit than the others. Now I looked at it on a completely black screen with light switched off and you can definitely see some backlight bleed going on. I can live with the amount of bleed I have but I just wanted to ask if this is normal or if ASUS can do better? I'd like to hear your opinions on my BLB and please tell me what you would do when getting a monitor like this.

Do keep in mind taking a picture will over exaggerate the panel glow, such as the blue you see (this is normal).

The white backlight bleed in the corners is not normal.

I would RMA the Monitor, you should not have to reduce the brightness of the monitor and do all the adjustments you mentioned in another post.

The only unfortunate thing is Asus has had such a large issue with the RMA of this product, they do not have any replacement product to give out at this time, and many websites have stopped selling these monitors as there is so many issues.

My newest December model... Absolutely terrible.. You can see the brown bottom right corner in pretty much anything, even against brighter screen it looks stained.

Not sure if I made pictures right, but here is my PG279Q (40% brightness). What do you think about this one - should I RMA it to it looks decent? Thank you

You have a good sample, i'd keep that one as long as it's free of dead/stuck pixels.

Its got decent back light bleeding. I would return or exchange it from your point of sale. Do NOT RMA to Asus, it takes many weeks and you get a refurb from them, basically a monitor that someone returned due to backlight bleeding.

This is VERY important, do NOT do an RMA.

How's this for bl bleed? Asus representative told me it was normal glow for ips monitors and is inside their quality criterias so they won't rma it. First pic taken in the dark, other in daylight. Brightness 50%. He told me to take a picture at daylight with brightness 40-50....why? The problems only show at dark really. Should have listened to people that adviced against it but i took my chances.

I'm not really sure how bad it is though...i do like the monitor otherwise but that bothers me a bit. Anyone have idea is that ips glow or bleed or what? Should i try to change it or what?
