Hi. I bought a PG278QR monitor the other day and have both hdmi and dp connected to my gtx 1070 card. The issue I have is that when in dp mode and I switch to 165hz the display goes into dual monitor mode so the icons disappear off the screen. I have both connections like this so that I can change from dp mode to hdmi mode on the fly and use some of the 50hz modes. I have tried messing with the windows 10 settings but cannot figure out why it keeps gong into dual monitor mode. If I disconnect the hdmi cable the 165hz mode works fine. Can anybody please advise on whether I need to do something to get this to work correctly?
