PG278Q - Dead Power Adatper, will this work as replacement?

Been using a PG278Q since 2014 first swift released and still nice and proper, but been plugging the Power Adapter in and out the last year to get it to start and now it finally died. Surprised it survived so long knowing how absolute garbage the "apple tv looking adapter" is.

But very happy with the screen, so i wonder if i just can stroll down the store and get one of these:

W5.5x2.5 mm should work for Asus, (5 V, 2 A) 90watt. 18,5-20 V

I gambled and it paid off! :cool:

Works fine with the adapter linked. Sleep and Wake works fine as well. If anyone picks it up "Guess it's available in EU/Scandinavia" , the Asus W5.5x2.5 mm is the blue contact. Plexgear is a garbage brand, but i hope it lasts.

Also noticed that it said 1.5A on the adapter, so 2A is just the usb charging. So the amp is correct and it goes all the way up to 90watt so it should probably work with all other Asus Monitors as well.
