Hi, to be short I am unable to set my monitor to 3840x2160 at 240hz.
My configuration:
Video card: ZOTAC ZT-P10810F-10P GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Core Edition 11GB GDDR5X VR
CPU: Intel i7-8700 3.22.
RAM: 16 GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7.
Windows version: Windows 10 PRO, version 10.0.19045 Build 19045.
Monitor driver: ASUS_PG32UCDP_WHQL_Driver
Video card driver version: 32.0.15.6614, Driver date: 06.11.2024.
***Monitor details:***
Frame rate boost: Disabled
Variable refresh rate: Enabled (tried disabling it, no luck, still unable to do 240hz at 4K).
ELMB: Off.
Uniform brightness: On.
HDR: Off.
DSC support: Enabled.
HDMI CEC: Enabled.
Proximity sensor: High.
Firmware version: MCM103.
I’ve tried each and every cable that came in the box with the monitor, and also bought a Delock 85663 4K 240hz certified cable. Was still unable to use my monitor in 4K at 240hz. Cables were all connected to either display port or HDMI.
Tried to uninstall drivers with DDU, didn’t work.
I also have other issues with this monitor, such as bad banding with grey backgrounds (especially visible on YouTube) and the monitor also shuts off randomly.
I need this monitor to be able to output 4k at 240hz.
I am at a loss of how to proceed further...

News flash: Your video card is TOO OLD to support 4K 240hz.
The 1080 Ti does NOT support DSC, therefore CANNOT support 4K 240hz.
Also the "bad banding" in YouTube is because you have AMBIENT MODE turned on with the YouTube player.
