No data coming through USB-C on PG32UCDM

I have my monitor's USB-B port connected to my PC, and auto KVM is turned off, with "KVM (USB-B)" selected. If I plug a mouse into one of the monitor's USB-A ports, it works. But if I plug my Quest 3 into the USB-C port, the PC doesn't recognize that I've plugged anything in, though the Quest does get power. My monitor's firmware is MCM108.

My PC doesn't supply enough power to keep up with the Quest 3 discharge rate, so I was hoping to run it through my monitor. Should this work? Am I missing something?

I may have just answered my own question. I just realized that I get the red "recording" indicator when I plug the USB into the monitor. Sure enough, if I switch the monitor to the USB-C video input, it shows my headset's video. If anyone knows a way to have it treat the Quest like a data device rather than a video source, I'd appreciate it.
