New PG258 backlight bleed?

Hi there,

First time I've bought a non-laptop monitor. Comparing it on the images to my laptop screen (G751JY IPS). Does this backlight bleed on the PG258Q look normal to you? Almost seems to me like only 70% (the middle of the screen) is normal...

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. After searching around a bit the problem seems to be "clouding" which could mean the monitor have been handled badly and gotten damaged.

Im considering returning it, and I'm close to the deadline for that. Is this normal, or could I be luckier with another monitor? Would be silly to return it, buy a new one and have the exact same problem.

Welp, probably false alarm!... Tested again today, and now it's fine. Maybe it was just some burn-in stuff that happened that day...
