motion blur asus pg 279q

hello
i have been trying to play bf1 the last 3 weeks, but performance is not at its best (micro stutter, drunk movement with mouse feels sloppy)- my specs asus pg279q, gtx 1080 , i7 6700k 16 gb.
yesterday i have found a solution (game looks and feels great) but it seems odd that this type of fix necessary. on bf1 settings i put motion blur on 100% instead of default 50 %. now i know that first person shooters its better of without motion blur but game feels so bad without it. my question is ( i have a 1440p 27 inch monitor) 50% motion blur on 1080p is equivalent to 100% motion blur on 1440p?

Try changing the refresh rate to 144Hz or 120Hz and see if your games play any better.

If i'm not mistaken, i do not think they're equivalent. Have you tried playing with G-sync on?

yes i have tried gaming on 120 hz and 144 hz but did not work well. gsync is always on and vsync off. the weird thing is when i play bf1 with 100 % motion blur the game feels and looks smooth (great gameplay - high quailty motion blur on bf1 no headaches ) but i am worried about the reason i have to use motion blur.

Try using Directx 11 instead of Directx 12.
