Make Future Monitor Feature Suggestions Here!

Hi all,

ASUS ROG is requesting our best suggestions for ROG product improvements. As a moderator I won’t have the ability to implement your suggestions but I will be picking some of the best to highlight for the ROG team so they know what matters to us, the community.

Some guidelines for this thread:
1) Keep it positive and constructive. In most of the forum I try to allow you all to express your thoughts freely (within reason). This thread has the express purpose of generating constructive suggestions so I will be moderating this thread and deleting posts that do not contribute to that goal.
2) Keep it concise and on topic. Some minor discussion regarding a specific suggestion is welcome but if you would like to have a longer conversation I ask you start an additional thread and link it in your post here. You can also request a moderator move your posts if you have need.
3) Try for realistic ideas that appeal broadly to gamers. A small improvement on an existing ROG product is much more likely to get chosen than an entirely new product that only matters to a small number of people.
4) Support your favorites! You don’t have to come up with a suggestion to help. If you see something you like, quote it and say so! More support for an idea improves its chances.

EDIT:
I’ve updated the titles for these feedback threads to reflect that this is primarily for *future* products. Sorry for the lack of clarity. While there is a chance some ideas could be implemented via software updates it’s most likely any suggestions would be rolled into new products.
Also, these threads are not for issue reporting and such posts won’t reach the right people. Please post issues in the ROG Care > Hardware & Software Support section. Or contact ASUS support via phone or email for immediate assistance.

my first complain : CAN WE HAVE A VERY TINY SMALL DOT, and a big one like you have in the game already, the more choices, the best it is.

Well having the latest connectors is a absolute must since a monitor is going to outlast several GPU upgrades.

I dont have any experience with HDR monitors yet (pg32ucdm cant come soon enough) but i do hear windows doesnt work nicely with it so i think having the ability to have multiple user made settings profiles for SDR and HDR would be very nice thing to have (and also adress night and day time differences like KOBOL mentioned) especially if these profiles can be named and quickly swapped.

4k 240hz ? with so much game with ultra graphics and 4 K i can't pass 90fps with a 4090......

I suggest you sell monitors that actually support the features listed, not like the PG27AQDM that is sold as G-SYNC compatible, but in reality is NOT G-SYNC compatible!!!

Hello guys, I like to see that we can put some ideas here, I hope some could be heard. I am satisfy user of the PG32UQX and since I found app ASUS WIDGET CENTER working with PG32UQ it should be able to implement also into older 🙂 (but better) PG32UQX. Asus please could you check that possibility.

What's the reason for such low peak hdr brightness on gen 3 qd oled monitors like the PG32UCDM? On TV side it's much better.

I recently got the PG49WCD and the KVM functionality needs a little love. I realize the SmartKVM feature is probably useful using two PCs at the same time. However, what I'd like is to have the USB hub automatically switch between USB-B when the monitor is on DP or HDMI and USB-C when is on, well, USB-C. My two previous Gigabyte monitors (the M27Q X and the M34WQ) did this flawlessly.

Just got the PG32UCDM, and it's KVM could use some updates for it's firmware, specifically:

1. The KVM will not swap with both mouse and keyboard connected while both the connected HDMI and DP over USB-C are connected and turned on. Just keyboard swap works, and swap while devices are both powered off works. Should be able to work at any time.

2. When you swap between displays, the USB hub devices (M+K) should swap as well, or at least have this be a feature you can toggle. Having to set two separate settings (first video, then kvm) to swap between is annoying.

3. Add a standby option for the power menu. Currently it's only off or on, which is inconvenient if you want to power usb devices with the screen off.

4. Make the text cleaner in the OSD, or make the size scaleable to make it cleaner. For such an expensive monitor the text looks very bad (in english at least).

The PG49WCD should have an option to do the "pixel cleaning" after a certain number of hours on standby. Like, if the monitor has been on standby for 3 hours, just do the pixel cleanup.

Also, it seems that if I don't trigger the pixel cleanup when the little notification pops and I do it later, it doesn't register that I did it. You could also show a timer since last pixel cleanup or something.

It should also allow me to "pause" charge over the USB-C port. On occasion, I like to let my laptop run on batteries, so this would be very useful.

Hello, I don't know if it was brought up but I had recently got the pg32ucdm and I am very satisfied with sdr, however the hdr though still better(using beta MCM104) I wish I can customize my picture like I can with sdr.  I would love to be able to change things such as color gamut and other settings that are locked.
