I have an unusual issue with my XG32AQ monitor. When I use HDR and Dynamic Dimming simultaneously, the screen turns off when the scene is sufficiently dark. I have tried resetting the monitor to factory settings and confirmed that the firmware is up to date. This problem occurs on both PC and Mac, so it is definitely a monitor issue. I also used different cables, and the monitor's energy-saving feature is switched off.
The problem is easy to replicate: open a dark image in the browser (like this one: https://www.misie.org/plain-black-background.jpg), enter full screen, zoom in to cover the entire screen, and move the mouse cursor out of view to ensure no bright elements are visible. The screen starts turning off in this scenario. This issue is also noticeable when watching full-screen dark movies.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
P.S. The problem persists regardless of whether the monitor is overclocked or not.
