Hope this helps someone with similar problem, great screen but starts up in all colors of the rainbow until I press the source button.
How to get into secret factory menu menu:
1. turn monitor off
2. turn monitor on
3. Click the GamePlus button twice (marked with G)
4. Click UP from the 5-way button twice
5. Click Exit key from the 5-way button twice
6. disable all 3 options
7. exit by pressing GamePlus button
8. test, standby laptop DO NOT TURN OFF DISPLAY! or run in CMD:
powershell (Add-Type '[DllImport(\"user32.dll\")]^public static extern int SendMessage(int hWnd, int hMsg, int wParam, int lParam);' -Name a -Pas)::SendMessage(-1,0x0112,0xF170,2)
If your Asus 'CMOS\BIOS' battery is dead, like mine: Do not turn off the monitor it will forget the settings and startup again in Burn-In-Mode.
