What version are you updating from? I have a new one too, but am not seeing a firmware update for it.

I have updated from MCM 103 to MCM 105

Only the USB Method worked for me

You need to insert the USB immediately after pushing the update button for 5 seconds

Here the link for the monitor it somehow don't appear if you search for it on Asus site only if you Google it

https://rog.asus.com/de/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-swift-oled-pg27ucdm/helpdesk_bios/

But important that is a German link you need the firmware from where you bought your monitor or else the update will fail

MCM107 IS NOW AVAILABLE on ASUS Support website MCM107 Just got mine yesterday and it's pretty amazing so far. Using the USB thumb drive method with the file(PG27UCDM.BIN) in the root, using the monitor port, connected to the computer provided by the ASUS cable and holding the widget button for 5 seconds and it worked as intended. On Screen and it will go to sleep on you before it's finished. Don't FREAK OUT! It restarts on it's own. My system has ASUS TUF RTX5070Ti and it's pretty stunning considering it's 4k. I can read this fine print. Coming from an ASUS TUF VG259Q 1920x1080 that I've had years of happy with. Now a secondary display for college football games.

The problem now is that I want more HDR10 and DP2.1 on my other computer too.

Downloaded MCM107 and followed the instructions. It worked so I now have the most recent update!

Thanks for your assistance.

Thanks. I went to the US site and downloaded it. The update fails as it does not find the bios update file on the USB stick. I tried inserting it right after pushing the update button for five seconds.

The firmware (MCM107) has been removed from the official website.

Could it be that manual cleaning takes forever, as it does for me?

Noticed that today 😹 I have it installed, hopefully nothing too major.
