Firmware Flashing - PG32UCDM

Hello,

I am on Linux and wondered if there was a way to flash the firmware from either Linux or through a thumbdrive plugged into the monitor? I know there is some key combo to bring up a firmware flash screen on the monitor because I accidentally accessed it once. Is that how I would do it being on Linux and if so what is the button combo to access it? Thank you.

Hey,

First a disclaimer that, IIRC apparently some folks bricked their units when beta testing the first firmware update, which was done via USB pendrive.

If you click and hold the joystick in its center position for 5 seconds, an OSD message pops up saying "updating firmware" and an 0% progress bar, goes away after a few seconds after failing. No clue how functional is that and how to format the drive or what files to put in there. Personally I'd try to borrow a windows laptop before attempting this.
