I recently bought an ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQN and use this monitor in combination with my old monitor (ASUS ROG PG279Q). The PG27AQN is now my main monitor and the PG279Q is my second monitor. Both run with G-Sync enabled (360hz and 165hz). I have also installed the latest firmware on the PG27AQN. However, I quickly realized that the PG27AQN gives me a black screen in games and in some applications such as iCUE. It doesn't flicker like many are describing, the picture is simply completely gone until I tab out again. I use the included DP cable on an RTX 4090 (ROG STRIX from ASUS, how ironic).
NVIDIA driver is also the latest. DP slot changed. All this only helps in the short term. After a restart, the black screens appear again. Does anyone else have the problem and know a solution that really works? I also changed the color profile from RGB to YCbCr444, but none of this helps permanently. I didn't spend that much money to disable G-Sync. There must be a solution out there. This monitor is obviously not plug and play.
