Last Week i bought a PG278QR monitor from amazon.de
I received it on Friday. After some hours i found out that i have the pixel line problem that appears on the Left or on the Right. A year ago a sticky was added to this forum saying that we need to send the Monitors for a firmware update ( it was for the PG279 though, but i have the exact same problem).
Anyway i thought my monitor was from an old batch. But near the S/N it is written : FEBRUARY 2017
So its a brand new monitor where the firmware update is not done !
I contacted ASUS... and they suggested to RMA the monitor. So i asked if the Firmware will get an update. and they said no it will only get replaced...
I am not interested in replacing the Monitor if the problem will persist since its a firmware problem. Acer proposed an Update for their Monitors.....
Its unacceptable !!! 670 euros for faulty monitors from february 2017!
