PG279Q , what is the best Refresh rate to use in/out of games

Hello,I just purchased PG279Q and already overclocked it. I can now set the rate up to 165 Hz. Shall I keep it at max rate all the time or shall I set it to 60 Hz when using windows application and only switch to max when in games?Thanks
