Asus Swift / VG248QE dual monitor setup problem.

So I have the 2 monitors mentioned running on GTX 970 SLI and I am using their original adapters. Displayport for Swift and DVI for VG248QE. I have setup the Swift as my primary monitor, yet when ever I boot up my computer the BIOS screen always boots from the secondary monitor. Is there some trick to setting it boots on the right screen? My conjecture is that the DVI port is simply the input that gets the BIOS info first and boots up from that monitor because of it and the simplest solution would be to get a DVI to HDMI/Displayport adapter. I have looked over the internet for a solution but none have worked so far, any other solutions?

Ok after some research I solved the problem with the dvi-e monitor plug. Just goto a pc store or online and get a dvi-e to display port adapter and
you are done. Now the main monitor displays all bios info and start up.
