ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQ ... cancelled?

Okay, so it's been like over a year with no word or any sort of discussion regarding the ASUS PG27AQ. It's hard to even google the thing, beside the search engine picks up other monitors instead (PB287Q/279,etc). Is this monitor even coming, and if so--when?

Or should I go buy some other brand's 4K g-sync monitor? I can't find a single store even mentioning this monitor.

This monitor was already released and is already available in Canada - http://www.ncix.com/detail/asus-pg27aq-rog-swift-27in-90-125198.htm

I would expect this is as well available in the US.

Please do keep in mind, while purchasing the PG27AQ monitors are also experiencing the same issues as the PG279Q BLB issues.

If you notice any yellow/white light in any corners or on the edges of he monitor, you should return this as soon as possible.

IPS panels if they experience any IPS glow will only emit a very faint blue along the edge of the panel which would only be visible in a dark lit room with a black background, this glow is not visible while viewing images and is not present if the build quality is up to standards.
