Asus ROG Swift PG279Q Buy or......???

Its about time to get a new Monitor and I can get the Asus ROG Swift PG279Q on sale here in DK

Im a bit scared because of all the bleeding stories Asus ROG Swift PG279Q and other quality issues

Is it worth to go a buy it or shall I find something else?

Yeah, these monitors do have a lot of issues like a bleeding, random vertical line issue, tiny green dots on the black background, random flickering. I was ready to put up with all these issues and buy this monitor today, but I didn't do it because of the common problem with random flickering:

As you can see it is a common problem that the ASUS hasn't fixed. In my opinion, this is a problem that can't be reconciled, It's unacceptable for 800$ monitor. I really want to get a quality monitor, but it seems that now it cannot be done. :confused: Other manufacturers of monitors have problems too, I believe that all fault is the installed panel from AU Optronics. At the beginning of next year LG should release new 2K panel, let's hope that they will be better than the panels from AUO. If you need a monitor now, you can pay attention to 21:9 monitors, they have less problems (I guess so).
