I have PG348Q LCD. It's great LCD (excluding backlight non-uniformity) but recently I discovered strange image problem.
A strange stain appeared on the monitor on the right edge (its bit over 4 years old, used every day).
Look below, It looks like damp?! But thats impossible.
Funny thing that after a while the stain become less visble.
After longer time even less visible. Best scenario it looks like that.
After short time when monitor sleeps or turn off (cool down?) the stain appears again exaclty same like on first photo...
Two question (the device is out of warranty):
1. Is any chance to get rid of it on my own?
2. Being afraid if it will worsen, will it? It does not interfere with everyday use, it affects my psyche more now. It's an expensive monitor, I like it and I feel sorry that it has such a disadvantage.
Have any of you encountered such a problem?
