Hello,

I bought this display, when I started watching HDR movies I noticed "color banding".

Then I ran greyscale ramp from AVS forum to further investigate and it was obvious... just look at the pictures.

Display firmware : MCM102

OS : Windows 11 2024 H2

Motherboard : asrock z370 mini itx

Nvidia drivers : 565.90

I tried hdmi and display same problem. I tried with both to reset the display to default same problem...

I tried forcing in nvidia control panel 10 bits same problem....

Adjusting the brightness doesn't resolve the problem.

I tried different os different drivers I tried everything...

OSD shows HDR in monitors I tried every mods.

I hope you can help.IMG_6175.jpgIMG_6177.jpgIMG_6176.jpg

It is normal, i had two of these monitors and all had the same issue. You can change gamma a bit to make it better but then u have more black crush. All WOLED Panels have these issues to some extent.

Hi, I have the same problem, maybe even more visible. Extreme posterization and color banding with HDR enabled. Did you manage to get it fixed somehow?

Hello, unfortunately not, I send it back and waiting for a firmware update... On my lg c2 tv there's no problem so woled panel shouldn't look like this...

Is there an option for smoothing gradation on the monitor at all? I know that banding on OLED TVs is quite common with HDR content, so they have clarity functions that smooth out the banding sometimes called gradation smoothing. I think if you turn these monitors off, they also do some kind of auto correction features. Maybe try turning it off then back on.

Looks like a squiggly

Hello, nope there's no smoothing gradation setting with this monitor...
