The color reproduction right out of the box is the best Ive ever seen. As for setting it up for different color profiles thats entirely preference. I have a color munky and calibrated the display with that, not much change at all. I leave it the same all the time, but thats just my preference.

Thats a personal preference to skew colors from their original intended production. I do a lot of photo processing and need for what I see to be what it is 100%. Nothing sucks worse than to edit a photo then print it out and find out what printed is not what you saw on the screen. That is seldom a printer problem but display calibration which is why I use Color Munki. It not only calibrates the the display, it also has a printer offset if needed and once Im all set true reproduction is a breeze no matter the lighting environment. I have a color card that has a WB block and all the colors on it. I simply have who is in the photo hold the card for the first shot for reference or if its an event I just put it somewhere where I can take a picture of it. Photoshop has a plugin where I just reference the picture of the card and BAM, the rest is majic, It sets all the colors and white balance perfectly every time.
