A new upload of MCM108 firmware for PG32UCDM

Mhill2029
Level 10

Seems they've knocked out a newer one carrying the same name.

New Features:
1. Renamed "Screen Protection" to "OLED care" and added several new panel protection features.
2. Optimized Auto KVM behavior to allow the signal source to automatically pair with the upstream port.
3. Introduced the Adjustable HDR feature.
4. Introduced the OSD size feature, allowing adjustment of the OSD size.
Issues Fixed:
1. Resolved the issue where the DisplayPort Stream set to DisplayPort 1.2 would automatically revert to standard mode when switching to Power saving mode.
2. Fixed the issue where the brightness would significantly increase when switching timing, enabling VRR, or other mode changes while the Blue light filter is set to level 4.
3. Corrected the issue where the Dynamic shadow boost button would not display when HDR is ON and HDR settings are accessed via shortcut.
4. Fixed the issue where Sniper and Sniper Night Vision would be grayed out and unselectable after performing All Reset and turning HDR OFF while HDR is ON.
5.Resolved the conflict between the Proximity sensor and HDR (Dolby, HDR10).
Note:
The update version is based on the release date and does not need to consider the version name.

Someone be a guinea pig and come back to me 😛

Sounds good but where is The VRR Antiflicker Feature?

Good question, we should have had it by now. God knows how it got Nvidia validated as being Gsync Compatible.

I did test VRR on MCM108, and it seems the refresh rate is more inline with FPS. For example:- If your getting 80fps the refresh rate it's bouncing between 60hz and 100hz (still not ideal) but it's not the crazyness that was MCM105 which was jumping wildly from 30hz to 240hz regardless of frame rate.

VRR flicker still there though, although i confess i've only tested it with Cyberpunk since that causes it more during loading screens.

It’s not a new upload but a description of all changes. No issues with mine so far after updating.

I don't think the Pixel Reminder is working anymore since this update. Unless it's now doing it in Standby, because i have yet to see it pop up at all.

I just updated this because I saw the notes but it still seems to be the same one in the original, still have kvm problems where the monitor is not detecting usb c inputs when i switch source. So for others kvm is still broken on this new one. reverted to mcm105

I got sick of the issues. I had an early PG32UCDM, and they accepted the RMA, confirmed the problems (black screen, failed KVM switching), and repaired or replaced the monitor. I still haven't received it. I will update you when I do.

I have had it pop up but it takes way waaayyyy longer then the 4 hours i have set as the reminder i tried setting it to 8 hours and back to 4 hours but it did not make a difference.

so unless it happens in standby its just doesnt seem to work at all anymore.

I've had this monitor for a few months, and the firmware I'm on is MDM108. Today I'm getting a notification that there's a new firmware, however it is not on the global or US webpage, and the display widget center never downloads the firmware. Do you guys have the same issue?

I also had a question about Display Widget Center. When I'm on the game visual page, no matter what mode I choose, it always goes back to racing, and then I can't change it. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix? Thanks in advance!
