Hi there,
my CPU cooler started making random noises and then died. I ordered a new one for my model, plugged it in without problems but it doesnt work!
Armoury Crate shows 0 RPM, my GPU cooler is fine. When i start cinebench etc. it simply doesnt spin.
I have manual fan control and everything I try, it only works for the GPU cooler.
What i tried so far:
- many many Windows restarts, with power adapter in and out
- Tried all modes in Armory Crate "Turbo" / "Silent" etc..
- I just plugged my CPU fan out and back in again, checked if I maybe plugged it in the wrong way... but it looks exactly like the GPU fan
- I even ordered a new one from a different shop now, cause it seems the new one is broken (?)
What can I do? I love this notebook and want to keep it, but all I can do now is use it only for office...
My Model: Zephyrus S17 GX703HR (i7 11800H + 3070).
Did anyone have the same problem? Can it be software related or some kind of bug?
