Windows boot manager fails the boot after reinstall ( windows 8 x64 )

*PC newbie here*
ASUS g75vx with 1 SSD and 1 HDD.

1) Windows 8 came installed on the SSD in a dissatisfactory fashion.
2) Decided to formarmat the two hard drives and reinstall windows 8 the way I wanted (deleting the manufacturer's files).
3) Under the windows installation I deleted the old and re-created new partitions on both the SSD and the HDD and installed windows on the SSD. (windows didnt want to install if i dont delete ALL the drives partitions - error "we cannot create a new partition or find an exisiting one")
4) Windows installed successfully. I began installing programs and drivers.
5) When i need to restart occasionally the system fails to boot (Windows boot manager pops up in the UEFI boot order as #1 option - I delete it and save-exit)
6) WIndows loads normally.
7) The next time I restart it fails the same way.

Basically every time I reboot I have to delete windows boot manager from the UEFI boot order in order to start the windows. I presume it is a remnant from the old windows. My question is - Is there a way I can solve the problem by permanently preventing the windows boot manager from popping up in the UEFI boot order?

I think I would try removing your hard driver until you have your SSD up and running. It appears that since you installed window with both drives in your computer it got confused and put part of the boot information on both drives.
Clean your Hard Drive before removing it so that its just blank space no partition
So remove your hard drive put the SSD in Slot 0 if its not there "Not Required" but less confusing.
see if that fixes your boot problem, if not proceed with a Repair install. Or Windows 8 has a built in boot repair I think? what ever you need to repair your boot set up.
Check your boot line up in your BIOS
This thread has lot of information that has been developed over the last year or so on installing or reinstalling windows using UEFI GPT and BIOS MBR you may need to install Window again if so leave your hard drive out of your system until you have Window up and running, your Graphic, Chipset, IRST, and all your other Hardware drivers installed and updated. Windows updated. When all is up working and fully updated. Then put your HD back in Set it up the way you want it. Then you can start with your Software/Games installing
