Windows 10 Version 2004 broke my Asus G56JR's keyboard LED

Hey,

I recently upgraded to version 2004 and my keyboard lights stopped working.

I tried reinstalling the ATK drivers and it didn't help...

Anybody with the same problem? Anything I can try?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Try with the latest ASUS ATK Drivers v2.0.8.0 WHQL : Link

Extract > Right click on atkwmiacpiio.inf > Install > Wait for the message The operation completed successfully or for restart request.

Hey! That worked! Awesome, thanks so much!

Is it ok to have this driver and not one specifically for G56JR?

Hi,

You're welcome,

Yes it's OK, it's a security fix : https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041545/

You're awesome!

I don't know how you got the download link thought...I tried searching for it on the download page and was unsuccessful.

It seems to work fine though.
