Windows 10 still not ready?

It would seem that upgrading to Windows 10 early on our ROG laptops might not be a very good idea, after all - according to this new article, regarding the way that Winodws 10 deals with the unconditional automatic updating of software.

I was all set with the idea of upgrading on release day - or at least whenever the upgrade comes through to me, but I think I'm going to hold off now until I'm certain that everything is going to work properly.

I don't see what could go wrong. Our hardware is current-gen so there should be no issues. I'm in for the fun of it. I don't have much to lose.
