Will this RAM work on my Asus G74SX?

204-pin SODIMMs are the correct form factor. If you are adding RAM, you want it to match the existing modules as much as possible. If you're replacing, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I'm going to add, not replace. Inside my computer there are some Samsung-bricks, so will this be good? Also, how do I take out the old bricks?

If you are adding to the existing RAM, you leave those modules in place.....no need to remove them. While the Crucial RAM (or another brand) may very well work just fine, mixing RAM brands can be a hit-or-miss proposition. I would recommend that you just try to find 4Gb Samsung modules that match those already in the machine. (Newegg usually has them.) If you can't find any of those, be sure to buy from a retailer that has a really good return/exchange policy, just in case you run into compatibility issues.

When I initially upgraded my G74 to 16GB (from the 8GB it came with) I got these, which were identical part/model numbers to the Samsung sticks in there:

Worked terrifically first time and all the time thereafter...never a problem. In fact these 4x4B=16GB of Samsung sticks are now in my wife's N53SN (went to 32GB on my G74!).
