hi guys!
im planning on buying a monitor for my laptop. and i would want this monitor to be a gsync one, but im not sure if i will enjoy this feature.
my concern is that the laptop doesnt have a display port, only HDMI and thunderbolt... so how exactely will it work, if it will at all?
is it worth the investment?
thank you all!

As far as I know you *must* have displayport to use G-Sync. I don't think you will be able to do this, sorry. 😞

Unfortunately, the website specs are not as clear about it, but the G751JT should have a mini-display port out (with thunderbolt combo port possibly?) as 'Marshall' mentioned in the post below unless there are variations of this model that I'm not aware of (which is always possible).

Also, the G751JT customer in post #15 below appears to be connecting a monitor to their mini-display port and using a miniDP to DP port adapter to get a display.

Anyway, the issue may need more investigation and discussion? Thanks!
