WiFi Issues after sleep & Automatic Updates

Hello,

I recently got myself an ASUS ROG G751JT-CH71

EDIT: Auto updates fixed. My AV would change the update settings in gaming mode.

Problem #2: Mainly after my PC wakes from sleep, but sometimes happens upon powering on the computer, I cannot connect to a WiFi I was connected to before. The only way to reconnect is to shutdown my PC and power up again which is getting annoying.

Temporary fix: when I run wireless card diagnostics it works again. But problem occasionally comes back.

Wireless Adapter: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Try to uninstall crappy "Software Intel® PROSet/Wireless"...
And use original (Windows built-in) Microsoft Bluetooth drivers ("Generic Bluetooth adpater").
// ASUS SCAR18 G834JY, i9-13980HX, 4090 laptop 256bit 16GB, 32GB 5600MHz RAM, 18'' 16:10 2560x1600 240Hz G-Sync internal screen, external UWQHD 3440x1440 Mi 34'' Monitor with Freesync, NVMe, 8BitDo Arcade Stick, Vader 4 Pro controller, ROG Strix Carry mouse.

How do you do that? Everytime I uninstall those drivers windows reinstalls the same ones.

I managed to fix the WiFi problem too. All I had to do was change the power saving options for the WiFi adapter.
