Just got the JS today. Display is without any issues. Can't stand Win 8. During the first install GeForce Experience downloaded / installed 337.88. Installed Steam then DayZ. Sourced GeForce Experience to DayZ which is on the list of compatible games. Run the game and it is so enlarged on the screen and the resolution so low it is unusable. Any text is a pixilated blur. The cursor is at least 1.5 inches in height. The 2nd monitor stopped displaying. Rolled the driver back to 332.60. Changed the display connection from USB to VGA and got the 2nd monitor back. Looked in the files and found the Nvidia Control Panel, which I assume the GeForce Experience replaces, but could not solve the game display resolution problem. There is an problem icon that was displayed in GeForce Exp that claims system was not adaquate to run DayZ. After rolling back the driver is now says DayZ cannot be optimized.
Got no idea what to do here. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Im sure you're having a real issue i can't help with but just in case: Yeah Dayz has not only resolution like most games but also "render surface" scaling with is sort of resolution INSIDE resolution, and if that is lower than your screen res it just upscales and blurs rendered frames. Its a good thing for low end pc's, but can confuse at first.
its not like i have enormous sense of self importance, its just that im importanter than most
I had the same weird thing, what fixed it for me is settng the resolution higher in geforce xperience dayZ settings. Have fun, game is great with this thing.
