I just purchased a G750JW DB71 a couple weeks ago, I want to order an ssd but I have 2 1Tb 5400rpm drives. Does anyone know which drive is the primary? They are labeled conn L and conn R.
Check in the BIOS, it should say which is the first in the boot order. Keep in mind that the BIOS will only list the SATA channels that actually have something connected to them (be it HDD or ODD). EDIT: You can change the boot priority, and so make the empty SATA channel the first to be polled for bootable media.
