If it's also like the G73JH, what I did was use the drivers CD as a reference check to see if I have everything "I want" installed, and whatever I ddn't want, uninstalled after a clean Win7 install. It seems if I updated a driver manually using Asus or the manufacturer's driver (Intel, Nvidia etc.), that when I pop in the Asus driver CD, it'll show that specific driver as installed (even if I installed a newer version).
It was a good way to see if I had all the drivers in, and the few drivers that never needed updating, like the camera and card reader, I would just run off the CD.
