Where are the G series made?

Hi, i'm a big Asus fan, I was reading that Asus has manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, China, Mexico and Eastern Europe, I was wondering where the G series are made, and if any and which other Asus laptop series are still made in Taiwan, or if all are made in China.

I have had 1,2,3,4,5 yeah 5 Asus laptops, and all have been made in China, and have been fantastic. I couldn't ask for anything more from a laptop. But yeah just curious as to where their made.

no problem, I mean with computers its hard to say where it is made, because all the parts are usually made in different countries, I am just curious as to whether assembly takes part in Taiwan or China? Also are any ASUS laptops assembled in Taiwan still?

My laptop (G53SX) was made in China. The only company that I know of which doesn't - though there may be others - is Toshiba (which makes their laptops in Japan).

I am a Senior Citizen from Australia and have just purchased on EBay a Refurbished Asus G53SX-SX232V i7-2670Qm Nvidia GTX560M Blueray combo drive with 2x750gb H/Drives & 16gbRam. I have got 12 Months Asus Warranty with it. I hope to get it in the post this week.
I have just become a member of this forum and read with great interest the problems that people have had with their G53SX laptops.
I wished that I had come across this forum before my purchase.
As you have owned a G53SX. Have I made a good purchase? Or am I going to regret my purchase?
Is there any other failings of this laptop that I should be made aware of please?
