Just bought a G751JY and noticed that the ASUS Screensaver I have is v2.05 but there is an updated 2.08 on the drivers download page. So i wanted to update it as the current one when I click settings in the screensaver panel, nothing happens, I was hoping that the updated one would allow me to mute the audio and just have the video play in the screen saver
anyway I tried to run the installer, it said I have to uninstall the previous version first so I went to Programs and Features to try to uninstall it but it asked for a password! my ASUS account password did not work so what on earth would the password be?
Who's dumb idea was this to put a password for uninstalling a screensaver!!!
