What Is the Latest Version of the ROG Gaming Center Software (Used on G752VSK) ?

My G752VSK laptop came with ROG Gaming Center version 2.03. The ASUS support website has update to ROG Gaming Center version 2.1.5. I tried both with the TurboGear update but find the program doesn't handle the heat well.


I also found ROG Gaming Center version 2.5.9 but I it doesn't seem to work with my system (program runs but there are no setting adjustments). Perhaps there is a trick to installing this version software on a G752VSK laptop.


Is there a newer version that is better at handling the heat?

The latest for your noteook will be loacted at Asus Support Downloads register your notebook and all available drivers and software for your paticular notebook will be there.

Clintlgm, I expected a stock answer, consider it received....

ASUS has a group of support programs for all their laptops. These programs are used across many different models. I was hopeful that perhaps there was another version of ROG Game Center that could be used on the Kaby Lake platform. Oh well, don't fault me for asking.

Many things are possible I only gave you the knowledge that I have. There may be some tweakers chime in with more knowledge. I always point people to the safe way of getting things done. These notebooks are finicky and easily screwed up and it you're smart enough to get your self in trouble with Tweaked software or BIOS tweaks you need to be smart enough to recover when it goes south on you. So yea I do keep in in the safe zone with my advice.
I don't fault you for seeking, hopefully, some one will have experimented and found something that works, it happens here often

Well, I reinstalled the ROG Gaming Center version 2.5.9, I have it working and use my iPhone to make changes and monitor my G752VSK laptop. Along with the ROG Gaming Center version 2.5.9, GameFist IV version 1.7.0.0 works well. It should be noted there is a newer GameFirst V but is not made to be used with Kaby Lake CPUs. ROG Game Visual version 1.0.2.0001 works with Gaming Center as well. The MacroKey version 1.0.6 also works with Gaming Center. This ROG Gaming Center collection work well together.

On the audio front, Realtek Audio Driver version 6.0.1.8443 works very good, as does Sonic Suite 3 version 3.6.24, ASUS Sonic Studio 3 version 3.6.40.51156, and ASUS Sonic Radar 3 version 3.6.40.51156. All of these programs work with ROG Gaming Center. Much better audio and great user interface.

The latest Realtek LAN driver is version 10.28.615.2018 and the Intel Wireless LAN driver is version 20.70.0.5, The ASUS Wireless Radio Control driver is 1.0.0.8.

I'm running the Intel Bluetooth driver version 20.70.0.4.

Except for the 302 BIOS, and three original drivers, all drivers have been updated.

Installed all the same that you and DvvDROG mentioned, and now temp of CPU and GPU reduced, which is a great and pleasant surprise! It used to be 55-65 in the idle and 65-75 under load, but now it stands at 45-50 (idle) and 50-60 (load), vents don't make as much noise as they used to. ROG works properly, Sonic Suite 3 also. What is more, I usually turn standard mode on instead of extreme, but it used to change back to extreme after Windows restart. Now it doesn't! I would recommend all this software updates to anyone with G752VSK, though you'll have to search these downloads at G703, GX501 and GM501 laptops support pages - it takes time, but it's worthy

i tried installing Sonic studio 3 from g703 and it says device is not supported...
how can i bypass this error?

It is nice for me to read that you do tests with the latest software on the official website of asus. I also go with those doubts with my G752VSK.

Have you updated the Bios and what bios do you have?
Has the windows October patch caused you problems with the audio?
And about the warming is also something that has happened to me.

Both the G752VS and the G752VSK use the CM238 chipset. I use BIOS 304 from the G752VS on my G752VSK, works fine.

Audio problems showed up after the Windows October update. The fix is to simply reinstall the original Realtek audio driver (V6.0.1.8302) found in your eSupport Folder, then reinstall the latest driver again. I still use Realtek V6.0.1.8443. This seems to work the best for me.

This same procedure can be done to install the ASUS Sonic Suite 3, ASUS Sonic Studio 3, and ASUS Sonic Radar 3.

I am now running the ASUS Gaming Center version 2.5.10. This works well with the Sonic Suite 3, Sonic Studio 3, Sonic Radar 3, Game First V, XSplit Gamecaster 3.3, ROG Game Visual, and GeForce Experience.
