What is the cable tie for?

Made me think back when a manager at a chemcial plant was looking over my shoulder while I was installing a PLC for one of his process and getting him out of the stone age. He was trying to exercise his technical prowess by asking what does this light emitting diode do? Answer...It emits light!

My cable tie is still in the box and still in the plastic. Not like I dont have a zillion of them that are actually better, only they dont have ASUS printed on them!

Same here! The question is why should i tie up my power cord....with a cable tie! Not that there is already a hook and loop fastener attached.
