As titled, I've recently updated my realtek driver through the asus g750 driver page, and waves maxxaudio is no longer working... This is the error i receive "MaxxAudio processes internal speakers output only". What is going on here?

I have always installed 6909 and always had Maxx Audio

the previous driver sound less in quality compared to 6909

Thanks dude. It worked for me 😄 Which preset do you use anyway? I see they replace the old presets with new ones, i'm leaning toward soundscape currently. And you're right i noticed improvements from the overall sound quality of the speakers.

Oh by the way, does your subwoofer cause the system's components to rattle and make metallic screeches above 50% volume? Cause mine does and it still does even with this new driver installed which is kindda annoying, wonder whether is this the case for all g750 units or is this just a bad screw job

nope no rattles at all

I use ROCK only it sounds the best, also, I use the LAV VIDEO + AUDIO DECODERS IN MPC-HC

LAV VIDEO = I set it to use CUDA to make the most out of my GPU and I enable hardware de-interlacing
LAV AUDIO= In the options, expand mono to stereo, in the 2nd tab, enable mixing and set the level to .073

Thanks for the tip dude. And as for the weird rattling screeches, i guess it's a bad screw job on my unit.. I'll bring it down tomorrow to the service centre to have it examine.

I've just bought the Asus g750jx. I'm facing this problem atm and I'm a little bit concerned about it. Does anyone have the same problem? This sound is pretty annoying and I updated the latest drivers. What can I do?
The version of the driver is 6.2.9200.16384 . Should I bring my laptop to the support center for any substitution?

What was the solution that worked for you? I'm having the same issue and apparently some of the post on this thread are gone.
