Undervolt -80 in bios. Boot computer, use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to undervolt further. Tested undervolt extensively, is rock solid. Watchdog = true, apply settings at startup = enabled.
Reboot system, Watchdog = false now, will not automatically apply my XTU settings on startup (this is why I care about watchdog), option to load settings on reboot is unavailable due to false watchdog.
Reboot system, change voltage in bios to 0. Load into windows, Watchdog = true.
Reboot sytem, no change in bios, load into windows, Watchdog = false again.
Reboot system, change voltage in bios back to -80, load into windows, XTU settings are in effect, Watchdog = true.
Reboot system, no change in bios, load into windows, Watchdog = false.
So it seems that watchdog is disabled when I reboot unless I change the volt in the bios in either direction. If I reboot without touching the bios watchdog is false and my XTU settings are not applied.
WTF.
