VX - Left Side USB Ports

Hi Guys,

Strange thing is happening....
If i plug my external Seagate HDD to any of the left side ports, it will randomly connect/disconnect.
I usually have Logitech Unifying receiver in far left port (for my mouse), and when HDD is connected i also experience freezing of the mouse.

HDD is tested OK , and it works fine in any of the right USB ports.

How can i make sure if left ports are not defective?

Thanks

please remove asus charger+ try again.

I had this same thing happen to me on my G75VW recently, also my speeds on the left side would vary depending how I wiggled the plugs, it ended up I had to RMA to replace card that contains both left side plugs. It worked well after that.

yes but you should really disable that option in windows. But it's strange, because only USB ports on one side don't work. I would say that this is a hardware issue. Probably with electricity. I would say RMA it.

Are you using an external drive powered by USB or by wall socket?
