Using a G75 audio card that looks exactly the same but 1 digit off

Thanks for helping in advance. I tried the search function, but it wouldn't work. Anywho...I have a Asus G75VW (best buy version) that I bought a couple of years ago. The audio port is now cracked and won't play. I looked up the serial number for the audio card and found it was part 60-N2VAU1001-D01. I can only find the part online sold in Europe (I'm in Florida). I did however find 60-N2VAU1001-D02 on ebay and bought it, but I'm afraid to install until I get confirmation that it won't mess other things up. From Ebay it says it's for the G75VX. Asus phone support was no help. Does anyone know if it will work in the G75VW? >

I would guess it to work but i am not going to guarantee that. Really the only way to know for sure is to plug it in and see what happens. Did you try calling the ASUS support? They might be able to give you an answer.

I'm showing the card you found can be used for both the G75VX and G75VW, so not seeing any problems with this.

Not sure if there are any issues with the card itself that you found (sorry, I worry too much and it should be fine), but our repair department wouldn't have any problems using the part number of the card you found for the part number of the card you originally had if this helps answer your question.
