UPGRADE WiFi card (Intel wireless-AC 7260) on G751JY. Possible?

Hi to all!
I wanted to know if it's possible to upgrade (switch) the G751JY's WiFi card (the Intel wireless-AC 7260) with a more modern counterpart.
Has anyone tried it out? If so:

1) what model did you installa and how is it working?
2) To anyone's knowledge, is there a whitelist in place in the notebook's BIOS that would prevent such an upgrade?

ASUS actually ships some G751JY units with the Intel 7260 wireless card, so if you search "G751 wireless" on this ROG forum site, you will find some related articles about it including the one below, but haven't been following it too closely myself, so you may want to try to talk to other people about it too if necessary.

Thanks for the reply cl_Albert.
I already read those threads. So at least someone has installed a different Wi-Fi cad (a Killer Wireless-AC N1535 ac/a/g/n 2x2 NGFF + Bluetooth 4.1).
That would answer my question on whitelist too I belive 😉
