Unable to boot G75VW after re-partitioning

After recovery from a boot problem I managed to get the laptop up an running with all drivers.
Figured needed to repartion my secondary drive,I have two HDD (750GB each), and used mini tool to format and resize the secondary drive. I also used it to hide my recovery partition and change drive letter of all but the OS (C drive).

Happily rebooted to see that windows is loading files bar coming up which quickly ended with “Reboot and Select Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key” message.

Need help to sort out and going to BIOS didnt help. I have not touched the BIOS config ever since i got this laptop.
But screen shots attached.

Not sure if ASUS G75VW come wit IDE or ACHI as I did accientally change and save.

Any help will be nice

Yes, it comes with AHCI and UEFI with disk GPT. you can try a repair install you may have to run it several times to rebuild the boot manager you deleted or rename.

Thanks Clintglm . But the startup repair install starts up by loading window files and comes back to the recovery screen automatically.
Seems like it goes in a loop.
Should I keep doing this or try the DVDs I created eons back when I got the laptop first off?

Also I have a Windows 7 , 64 bit. Does that change your reply as you pointed to the eightforum and I'm assuming the AHCI was also default for Win 7 G75VWs.

If you can't repair your boot manger you will be left with clean installing. Hopefully you backed up before messing with partitions if not you still can connect your hard drive to another computer VIA USB and back up any data you haven't wiped with the partition changes.

Still struggling with this.

There is "root cause found the partition table does not have a valid system partition" in the log file on running startup repair. Then it says it is fixed. I ran startup repair 3-4 times and it didnt solve the problem.

fixmbr works but fixboot and rebuilbcd commands return element not found!

I'm using a Win 7 -64 recovery CD which i created from another win 7 laptop.

Another question is on using the recovery DVDs I created. Somehow when I put them on there is a blank screen and a blinking cursor which keeps on blinking. Are these DVDs (I have 4 which i created when I bought the laptop) useless?

You deleted your boot manager or boot device in boot manager. It is possible to rebuild however beyond my expertise here are so links on the subject Windoweightfourm Personally I would have removed my data drive and clean Installed 7, 8.1 and been done with it. Your BIOS should have the drives set AHCI, and UEFI, Secure boot eitherway, CSM Off This would allow you to install UEFI. Follow the Tutorials on the eightforum or Guides and upgrade notes here in this forum

On the recovery disk set, if it does work it will put your notebook back to the factory image. If you don't remove your 2nd DATA drive it will get formatted!!. The set I made did work. I tested them to the point of starting the install. I did use them one time and they worked. It sound like yours are not.

Looking at you pic of Disk part disk 0 is your OS Drive and is showing only 1024 KB of free space Disk 1 your data drive has zero free disk space. I also see Disk 1 is GPT and Disk 0 is not.

have you tested these drives using the manufactures diagnosis tool? You need to insure your OS drive hasn't failed. From what I see here you don't have free space to install anything.

Pretty sure drives are fine. I also ran chkdsk and repair from the command prompt.
What has gone wrong is that they dont boot the laptop from the system drive like it should.
I also was able to go into using the Mini Tool Partition bootable CD. But dont know how to fix the bootloader using it. Any idea?

And space is plenty on all drives. Verified.

I guess I need clear set of instructions on how to fix bootloader in UEFI/GPT drives for Windows 7-64 bit (Not Win 8 unless it is the same process)
I can access command prompt and I can also get in via Minitool but seems resources on the internet focus a lot on MBR based issues. So would love a nudge in the right direction.

p.s The recovery DVDs dont work for me. So a clean install in out of question right now. Plus I learnt I cant download a Win 7 version as ASUS has OEM keys which Microsoft doesnt bother with anymore:mad:

One any win 7 SP1 Home Premium disk or ISO will work. Your product key is on the bottom of your note book. I earlier linked you to some threads on the 8 forum the 7 forum is linked there on the 8 forum. There are threads there on repairing the boot manager and rebuilding UEFI partitions. I havn't paid that much attention to them as I said from reading them it easier to just clean install than to go through all that. For UEFI win 7 repair disk would have to have SP 1. SP 1 is required for UEFI. A quick search on the 7 forum bring up several threads on repairing boot loader on UEFI Win 7. I linked that search for you.
