****ty Audio on the Asus G752vt

Hey guys

Anyone else find the audio (speakers) on the g752 to be utter and complete sheit?

I delivered mine back to retailer due to so low audio, in games at MAX everything normal speech was louder.
Got a new one back, and its the same crap. So it probably wasent something wrong..

How can Asus make such a strong and powerfull computer, and demand so much money, and then putter utter and complete garbage speakers into it?

So, whats your idea about the audio speaker system on the g752?

The sounds coming from my new G752VT is just okay for a laptop. I like the reverb. Generally all laptop speakers cannot be compared to multimedia speakers. You need a soundbox to produce bass. Laptops have very limited space so it is difficult to produce bass sounds, also bass sounds draw more power and shorten battery operation. Just plug in your head phones when travelling or plug in your bose multimedia system for watching movies, listening to music or gaming.

Sorry you feel that way,man.I do concur that the audio on G752VT is.....underwhelming,to say the least.
Which is why I use external speakers & ear phones.That said,you can probably adjust some settings in the Sonic Suite,specifically the equalizer settings to improve the sound output.

I have made my choice - G751JY here! Just use a pair of really nice headphones which are going to be better than any audio solution a laptop can offer. Amazon just had the Sennheiser 598 SE on for 100 bucks.

From what I've gathered owning two MSI laptops and then an ASUS is that since ASUS has much superior cooling that they don't have as much space for speakers. I am completely ok with this this as I would much rather my GPU and CPU going full throttle the whole time and using some kick butt headphones.

This is it pretty much. There are Pro's/Con's to every laptop, the ROG series haven't been known for good speakers. However Asus does try to improve on this by offering a built in amplifier for the headphone jack, which not all manufacturers do but a lot are starting to. It really does come down to just space. There's not enough of it to make good sounding speakers in a laptop. While other laptops may get louder, none are going to sound like stand alone speakers. As Exostenza said though, I also did a lot of research before buying another ROG laptop and they are simply better at more things that matter to me. Internal speakers are not one of them.
Grab some headphones and be happy knowing thats the only thing this laptop doesn't have going for it.

Have you installed Sonic Suite? or are you running a custom notebook? maybe here you can find a solution

To turn off Reverb, just slide to the left. It will turn off.

Honestly, expecting audiophile quality from any laptop is reaching a bit. No I take that back, Its reaching A LOT!
I will agree that the sound level on the G752 on a strictly volume level is quite a bit lower than the G751 but higher than some of the previous ROG models.

I don't use the laptop speakers for anything other than casual tutorial video or the likes.
There are several alternatives.
1) ear buds
2) headphones
3) BT speakers
4) PC speaker system
5) For the really serious you can connect wired or wireless to an audiophile grade system.

Me, Most of the time if I need sound that has a decent volume and sound quality Im using my Bose Soundlink III via BT, if its not that then my earbuds.
When I want to listen to audiophile grade, Im not using a PC anyhow as all the audio files are too compressed and lack the ability to reproduce all the tiny nuances you get from other media. In Laymans terms......crap in.....crap out!
